Projects
Here you can get an overview over many of my past projects. First there are some highlights that received much attention and polish throughout the years, some of them have even been released on the AppStore. After that comes a chronological list of some of my biggest ventures, mostly iOS apps, including descriptions and screenshots. In the end you find everything else that is worth mentioning.
Highlights
swop - a wordgame
April 2014
My love child, this app is a simple word game that actually started out in the real world on a blackboard. I adapted the game I played with my friends into an app and then worked on it, then some more and I am working on it till this day. This game is ten years in the making and after starting from scratch the fourth time early this year I was finally able to release it on the AppStore.

CoverQuiz
February 2013
Inspired by the well known logo quizzes and my love for music, CoverQuiz was born (formerly known as albumCoverQuiz). It was my first app that made it to the AppStore and has seen many different iterations over the years. I am currently working on a big update for it.

RoomReminder
October 2014
Starting out in highschool, this app has since followed me into university. It is a very simple timetable app that tells you when you need to be where, nothing more. It has once been released to the AppStore but is not currently available anymore. I plan to rerelease it sometime in the future, but no concrete plans at the moment.

Klettern in Südtirol
December 2011
My first really big project. The idea was to create a digital version of a book that I had, which contained information about all climbing areas in South Tyrol. I did so much wrong back then, but everyone has to start somewhere… Considering how little I knew, I got amazingly far!
BTW: I was way ahead of my time, since a few years later a similar app launched. Of course mine was much better ;)

Faster Than Light (FTL) - iOS Version
November 2012
As the name suggests I tried to rebuild the phenomenal PC game FTL (Faster Than Light) for the iPad. I loved the game and thought it would be a perfect fit for the touch controls of the iPad. I never got really far with this project (who would have thought that rebuilding a whole game from scratch is hard), but I got as far as opening the ship doors and implementing an oxygen system for the ship. I would be proved right later, as the developer did release an iOS version of the game several years later.
Arrows
July 2013
Imagine playing Temple Run but without the temple and all of the other fancy 3D graphics stuff, this is exactly what Arrows is! Swipe on the screen as fast as possible but without making mistakes and claim the new highscore.

Cards
April 2015
This is a pretty straightforward studying app. I first started this project when I was preparing for my “Abitur” and wanted to have a place to put down some questions and answers. The app got continuously extended throughout the years and I am still actively using it for my univsersity studies.

Simple Radio
August 2018
A simple radio app that does nothing else than playing the radio. I made this because I had some trouble with radio.de which I was using at the time. It was often not loading correctly and forgot my last heard station. Since I always want to hear the same and don’t need any fancy features I just created a simple web radio player myself.

Squirrel Defense Unit (S.D.U)
January 2020
A game that was developed in the context of the iOS development course at RWTH. The game was a group effort and features an innovative combat mechanic that relies only on device motion and sound. The main objective is to fight radioactive squirrels that are trying to attack the city. The game is location based and features a quest mechanic that sends the player to different places in the real world. See the video below to get a better understanding of the mechanics.
Epidemic Simulator

ASEAG Toolbox
July 2020
As the name suggests, this is a collection of different functionalities that rely on the IVU API for my local transport company ASEAG. It can show departures for different stations and different filters can be applied. The goal that inspired this project was to measure the mean delay of the busses depending on the time of day etc. by observing the real time data that is provided by the API.
Stack Them
September 2020
A simple card game that is heavily inspired by the real-world game The Game but adapted for mobile. It started out as single player only, but a multiplayer version is planned. There is the capability to share played card decks with others in order to compete.
